The Woman to Woman event hosted by B.R.I.D.G.E was an amazing event. The amount of resources inone room and the networking opportunities were amazing. The information that was both presented and provided is very relevant and helpful in assisting those in rural communities to progress forward. The event was well-organized and thought out and each aspect kept the community in mind. I would attend another event of this caliber hosted by B.R.I.D.G.E!!!

I would like to take a moment to say thank you, to the ladies of BRIDE for hosting an amazing event on September 30, 2023 (Woman to Woman). As a vendor, I was made to feel at home and the ladies were so welcoming. The speakers were amazing, and I left the event not only with new clients but also empowered as well. I hope to be invited again in the future. You ladies are doing amazing work in these communities and it shows.

Working with Rebecca and the BRIDGE team for the Empower Her Conference has been an absolute joy. For two years in a row, Rebecca has brought such grace and professionalism to the planning process. She is always patient, incredibly organized, and consistently clear in her communication. She’s one of those rare people who manages to stay on top of every detail while also creating a warm, welcoming space for collaboration. Her optimism is infectious, and her friendly spirit makes even the busiest moments feel manageable. I truly feel like I couldn’t do this without her. We’re so grateful for this partnership and excited for what’s to come!

Lady Jane Acquah, Ph.D.
It is my absolute pleasure to share this testimonial for Rebecca Powe, Executive Director of BRIDGE. I have had the honor of working alongside Rebecca for the past three years as part of the Central Texas African American Family Support Conference (CTAAFSC) planning committee. During this time, I have witnessed her dedication, professionalism, and deep commitment to serving our community.
Rebecca is an integral member of the Programs, Logistics, and Marketing Committee, where her exceptional organizational skills and strategic thinking shine. She is incredibly well-connected to the Black community and leverages those connections to bring valuable resources and opportunities to community members. Her ability to coordinate, problem-solve, and lead with both efficiency and heart is truly inspiring.
What I admire most about Rebecca is her tireless work ethic and her genuine passion for making a difference. Whether we are planning complex conference logistics or brainstorming ways to better engage the community, she approaches every task with positivity and determination. Working with her is both a privilege and a joy.
Rebecca is not only an outstanding leader but also a trusted collaborator who uplifts those around her. I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with her in this important work.

It is with great respect and admiration that I write this letter of reference in support of BRIDGE and its exceptional Executive Director, Ms. Rebecca Powe. As someone who has worked closely with Rebecca and participated in several of BRIDGE’s community events, I have seen firsthand the powerful impact Bridge continues to make in the lives of women, families, youth and underserved communities in Austin as well as surrounding rural areas. BRIDGE is not only bridging gaps in opportunity, access, and support—it is addressing mental health issues and addressing lasting pathways for personal and professional transformation.
Rebecca Powe is a visionary leader who leads with heart, humility, and a deep commitment to service. I have had the honor of mentoring Rebecca this past year, and I commend her for intentionally making time to grow as a leader, seek wise counsel, and invite collaboration. Her willingness to be guided, while simultaneously lifting others as she rises, speaks volumes about her character and capacity. Rebecca leads with a unique blend of strategy and compassion, and she continues to position BRIDGE as a trusted force for good in the Central Texas region.
Getting resources to rural and underserved communities is critical. Knowing that Bridge is fostering and facilitating equitable access to resources, mentorship, education, and community support is both inspiring and deeply needed in today’s social landscape. Bridge's commitment to uplifting historically underserved populations—particularly communities with the greatest needs, and those impacted by economic or health disparities—reflects a mission rooted in justice and compassion. Bridge doesn't just create opportunities; it ensures that those opportunities are accessible, inclusive, and designed with dignity in mind. I have seen your organization actively remove barriers and invite collaboration across sectors. Bridge is not only changing individual lives—it is reshaping entire communities to thrive, grow, and lead with purpose. I personally appreciate your organization allowing my involvement in multiple BRIDGE-hosted events,
What I have enjoyed the most is witnessing the organization’s ability to unite diverse voices, foster healing spaces, and empower individuals to thrive. From community summits to wellness workshops, every effort is marked by Rebecca's integrity, excellence, and skill set to ensure inclusion. I wholeheartedly support the mission and leadership of BRIDGE, and I remain confident that under Rebecca Powe’s guidance, the organization will continue to expand its reach and deepen its impact.
