My name is Christine Childers, and I serve as the Project Manager for Advancing Breast Health in Central Texas, a breast cancer screening initiative through UT Dell Medical School.
I realize this is short notice, but I recently came across your event and wanted to ask if it might still be possible for our project Health Navigator to set up a table at the event. We would be able to bring our own table and chairs if needed.
During tabling events, our team focuses on raising awareness about the program, providing one-on-one breast cancer education, and screening interested women to determine whether they may qualify for our program. Our project specifically serves women ages 40–74 who are uninsured or underinsured and are due for their screening mammogram, and we are able to cover the cost of screening for eligible participants. We have contracts with Ascension Seton Edgar B. Davis (Luling), Bastrop, and Smithville.
If it is too late to participate in this event, I would welcome the opportunity to connect about any upcoming events where our team might be able to participate.
Thank you for your time and consideration!
